I Will Pay Salaries on 25th of Every Month If Elected-Modi

By Billy Graham Abel Yola

Bindow challenger for APC flag in the 30th September, rescheduled primaries, Dr. Mahmood Halilu Ahmed, says he would make the 25th of every month, salary due date for all civil servants in the state.

Modi Said, it is unacceptable for someone to work for 30 days and not be paid.

Modi made the remarks while on a campaign tour of all three zones of the state during the week.

Modi Said, "I have the ideas and strategy to make Adamawa an economically successful state and create prosperity for our citizens.

"Adamawa state is too blessed to be struggling like this and it is because we are led by people who are clueless and lack the ability to bring new ideas into leadership."

The gubernatorial hopeful said, he would also address the concerns of the pensioners in the state by capturing those whom have not been Captured for pension payment and clear the backlog of salaries owed the retirees in the state.

He said it is nothing short of being wicked to treat people who served the state for more than 35 years like slaves such that they have to beg for what is rightfully theirs.

He notes that retirees in other parts of the world are treated with respect and dignity because of the energy and efforts they invested into nation building but it is sad that in Adamawa, they are treated as if their contribution does not matter.

Modi Said, "I am a blessed person and I can only use my resources for the state and not take anything from the state coffers and I have the ideas to make Adamawa a prosperous state.

"I promise to restore the dignity of civil servants in the state by paying especially the local government staff that are owed salaries and pay off salary arrears owed pensioners, which is a duty that their country and state owed them."

He called on the people of Adamawa to rally behind president Muhammdu Buhari and do away with the Bindow led government so as to enjoy the dividends of democracy other states of the country are enjoying.
