Trouble As NULGE Vows to Mobilise Against Re-election Bid of ADHA Members Unless They Pass LG Autonomy Bill- A Source Discloses
Daily Rendezvous A top ranking member of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) has told Newsmen that the union would work against the re-election bid of all members of the current Adamawa state house of assembly to ensure non of them is elected back to the state house in 2023 if they fail to pass into law the Bill for local government automy. NULGE says, it dares members of Adamawa State House of Assemby to refuse to pass into law the local government autonomy Bill and see how their dreams of returning to the house of Assembly would collapse. The source inside NULGE said NULGE would implode the dreams of the member of the house if they stand against the Bill seeking to ensure the freedom of the local government tier of government, thereby, preventing the benefits of democracy to reach people at the grassroots in Adamawa state.
