ISWAP claims responsibility for Kuje prison attack

Daily Rendezvous  The Islamic State in West Africa Province (ISWAP) has claimed responsibility for the attack on the Medium Security Custodial Centre in Kuje, Abuja. Terrorists broke into the prison, on Tuesday night, and released over 800 inmates, including high-profile suspects. In a footage on Wednesday night, the terrorist sect showed some of its men shooting their way into the facility. Tens of fighters were seen marching in groups while vehicles and building were on fire in the 38 seconds video. An elderly man dressed in a native attire also joined the young men who were shouting on top of their voices. Breaking: Gunmen Ambush President Buhari's Convoy on a Sallah Trip to Daura

Daily Rendezvous  The Presidency has described as sad and unwelcome, the shooting incident near Dutsinma, Katsina State, at the convoy of cars carrying the Advance Team of security guards, protocol and media officers ahead of the President, Muhammadu Buhari’s trip to Daura for Sallah.  The attackers opened fire on the convoy from ambush positions but were repelled by the military, police and DSS personnel accompanying the convoy.  Two persons in the convoy are receiving treatment for the minor injuries they suffered. Boom!!! Gunmen Kidnap Nigerian Police DPO

Daily Rendezvous The Divisional Police Officer of Fugar Police Division in Edo State, Chief Superintendent of Police, Ibrahim Aliyu Ishaq, has been kidnapped around Ise River along old Auchi-Ekperi-Agenebode Road in Edo State. Daily Rendezvous gathered that the armed kidnappers have already contacted the family of the Senior Police Officer for a ransom payment.
