Bala Mohammed, has tasked Nigerians to cue into his Nigeria first project saying Nigerians have to learn put their differences aside and fight for country of their dreams. Sen. Daily Rendezvous In a tweet as shown above, the Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, says he is not part of the agreement reached by a team of northern Elders who endorsed Bala Mohammed and Bukola Saraki.  The Tambuwal Campaign Organization (TCO) has rubbished the announcement of former Senate President Bukola Saraki and Governor Bala Muhammad of Bauchi state as consensus candidates by the Northern Elders Forum. Again, a statement from Nicholas Msheliza, Director of Organization and Mobilization for TCO, said the announcement by the Northern elders was of no “consequence”. Daily Rendezvous Governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have asked General Muhammadu Buhari to immediately sign the Electoral Act Amendment Bill into law. They made this known Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital, at their forum’s meeting on the state of the nation. The party’s National Chairman Iyorchia Ayu expressed optimism that the PDP would return to power in 2023, given the unthusiasm of Nigerians towards the party. The group, during its 27th national delegates conference held in Yola, Adamawa state, said, it would not be intimidated from endorseing either Bala Mohammed or Dokpesi, come 5th June, 2021. Daily Rendezvous The Northern Youth Leaders Forum (NYLF) has denounced as false and a figment of some media's imaginations, the claims in some local and international media, that it has endorsed Nyesom Wike as its candidate for presidency come 2023. The national chairman of the Forum, Elliot Afiyo, said, the organisation is not unaware of the desperation and the scheemings of some groups in view of the 2023 presidency, but NLYF has its protocols for endorsing a candidate and that the process is already in progress to endorse a candidate. Afiyo, has described as false and misleading, certain claims by the BBC and VOA, that Nyesom Wike or any other candidate has indeed been endorsed for presidency in 2023.
