Daily Rendezvous  The Presiding Overseer of the Citadel Global Community Church, Pastor Tunde Bakare, has condemned Bola Ahmed Tinubu's ‘emi lo kan’ kind of politics, saying politicians who lay claim to entitlements and practice such are intolerant. Bakare made the remarks, Sunday during a state of the nation broadcast at his church auditorium in Ikeja, Lagos. Pst. Daily Rendezvous Nigeria's vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbanjo, has formally declared to run for the president of Nigeria under the flag of the All Progressives Congress, (APC). The vice President's declaration come after months of speculations of his intentions to vie for the office. Osinbanjo has in a tweet said, "I am today, with utmost humility, formally declaring my intention to run for the office of the president of the federal republic of Nigeria under the platform of the APC."

Daily Rendezvous The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and south West political power house, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, says he has informed  General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), of his intention to contest for the president of Nigeria come 2023 presidential election. Tinubu made this known, Monday while briefing State House correspondents shortly after he met with Buhari at the Aso Rock Villa in Abuja. Accordingo Tinubu, the President is a democrat and therefore, has not asked him to stop the pursuit of his ambition which for him is a life-long quest. Daily Rendezvous The Northern Youth Leaders Forum (NYLF) has denounced as false and a figment of some media's imaginations, the claims in some local and international media, that it has endorsed Nyesom Wike as its candidate for presidency come 2023. The national chairman of the Forum, Elliot Afiyo, said, the organisation is not unaware of the desperation and the scheemings of some groups in view of the 2023 presidency, but NLYF has its protocols for endorsing a candidate and that the process is already in progress to endorse a candidate. Afiyo, has described as false and misleading, certain claims by the BBC and VOA, that Nyesom Wike or any other candidate has indeed been endorsed for presidency in 2023.
