Fintiri Condemns Attack, Orders Security Chiefs to Fish out Perpetrators   Sone unknown gunmen are reported to have attacked the hone of one Reverend Daniel Umaru of the EYN Church in Njairi Mubi local government area of Adamawa state, killing his two sons, kidnapped his daughter, shot the reverend but survided and the wife unconscious at the hospital as a result of the trauma of the attack. Locals told Daily Sun that the attack happened around late Tuesday night. SECURITY: Kukah Center Presents Start-up Packs to 100 Community Members

Daily Rendezvous The Kukah center has presented various startup materials and facilities to over 100 carefully selected and trained persons drawn from communities susceptible to violence and extremism in Adamawa state. The participants at the event were trained in fisheries, bakery, cosmetology, poultry, among other fields, as a means of dealing with poverty and empowering locals to build up resilience following the debilitating impact of violence and extremism on their lives and communities. Troops Kill 9 Boko Haram, Foil Attack on Outskirts of Maiduguri

Daily Rendezvous A combined forces of both army, police and vigilante groups under the operation Hadin Kai, have on Teusday, killed about 9 Boko Haram terrorist members, injured several of its fighters, and recovered a Buffalo Gun Truck, 3 motorcycles, 3 browning machine guns, among several other items as the terrorist escaped in disarray. The news of her release was released by her husband, Ahmad Isa Mbamba at around 1:32am of Wednesday informing her colleagues on the ABC Yola Staff WhatsApp platform that his wife has been released. “Alhamdulilla.Amra has regained her freedom and is reunited with her family. She has returned safely.  "Our sincere thanks to all colleagues for their show of concern and prayers,” he said. The attack is said to have taken place over the weekend in the remote town of Kwapre, close to Garaha, a community in Hong local government of Adamawa state. Daily Rendezvous 279 Female students of Government Girls Secondary School (GGSS) Jangebe in Talata Mafara local government area, Zamfara state who were abducted by gunmen, Friday have been rescued. The 279 rescued female students were arrived Gusau in convoy of several buses including two coaster buses and 18 seater buses. Daily Rendezvous The chairman of Lamurde local government council, Burto Williams, has directed that every Fulani herdsman that came into the Numan community without permission should immediately vacate the area and return to their place of origin, until the protocol agreed upon for a mutually respectful farming and grazing activities are observed. Burto explained that at a recent security meeting held at Numan, Demsa and Lamurde, an agreement was reached that herders coming into the Numan community must liase with the local Fulani leaders in order to obtain permission to carry out their activities in peace in the area. The suspense is hinged on the fact that it is not clear whether Adamu’s tenure will be extended by President Muhammadu Buhari, while some power brokers are reported to be lobbying for the extension of the IGP’s tenure till November 9 when he will be 60 years old. By service records, the IGP, who enlisted on February 1, 1986 will attain the mandatory 35 years service scheduled for retirement on Monday. As at Saturday, the IGP was not sure of his fate and has been commissioning some projects in order not to be caught off guard. A local from Garkida told News Rendezvous that the insurgents stormed the community around 5 pm Thursday evening, shooting randomly. The local contact said, "Right now, I cannot say how the village is because we are all hiding in the bush.
