Daily Rendezvous The Caretaker chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Adamawa state, Ibrahim Bilal, said the collective elected officials from APC in the state have brought in more development to the state than the state government has done in the last two years. Bilal said, the elected Senators, member of the House of Representatives, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, (SGF) FCT minister and the First Lady have brought more development to Adamawa than the Fintiri-led PDP state government. NLC Suspends Strike As FG Halts Draconian Electricity Tariff, Offers Labour "Incentives"

Daily Rendezvous The Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) has called off its planned nationwide strike action after several hours of negotiations saw federal government delegation led by Boss Mustapha, backtracks on its draconian electricity tariff and offered labour several incentives it claimed would cushion the effect of government policies on workers in the country. Among the incentives offered by FG included a plan to suspend taxation on minimum wage, among other policies designed to be implemented between now and the year 2021. This is contained in a statement jointly issued both labour and government, Sunday. While the electricity tariff might have been temporarily suspended, the fuel hike in price still prevails amidst government promises that could only be implemented between now and 2021.
