Fintiri’s aide, Kumangar, Tackles Sajoh, says “Ex-Commissioner ‘tenant’ in APC

Daily Rendezvous  The director general of media to Governor Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has fired back at Adamawa’s former commissioner for information, Ahmad Sajoh, describing him as a ‘tenant’ in the All Progressive Congress (APC). In a statement he signed on Sunday, Mr Sajoh said that the PDP-led state government in Adamawa is worried about how many people will show up to see the APC candidate for governor, which is why they are not letting the party use Ribadu Square in Yola. Ramadan: Governor Fintiri Reviews Curfew to Start from 11 pm- 5 am

Daily Redezvous Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has reviewed the curfew imposed on the three Council areas of Yola North, Yola South and Girei following the activities of hoodlums and other Miscreants in the society using Tricycles and Motorcycles. The curfew which was 10pm to 5am is now eased to commence from 11pm to 5am daily during the period of the Ramadan Fast and the review takes immediate effect. "The development is to enable the Muslim faithful partake in tafsir sessions during the period", the Governor said Government had in February 2021 imposed a night curfew on the three local Councils through the Adamawa State Restriction of Movement of Tricycles/Motorcycles Executive Order No.1 of 2021.  The order is meant to check the excesses of hoodlums terrorising the areas prescribing a sentence of six Months imprisonment with an option of fine or both in addition to forfeiting the Tricycle or Motorcycle. Daily Rendezvous Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has commiserated with his Media aide Solomon Kumangar on the death of his Mother Mama Kwata Kumangar who passed on Sunday at the age of 78. Rt.Hon Fintiri described Mama Kwatas death as a big loss, saying she would be sorely missed by Members of her family, the people of Madagali and Michika.  Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri noted that "Mama was a towering family figure who not only brought tremendous change to her household, community, Adamawa and the Church of the Brethren Mission in Nigeria, as a Mother to all that crossed her path". Fintiri said the monarch is a reservoir of knowledge, a man that has left a towering legacy in the civil service and also within the traditional institutions saying, only someone with unusual courage can fill attempt to fill his boots.
