Police Command Dislodges Criminal Hideout in Adamawa', Kill 3, Rescues 4, Recovers 2 AK-47 Rifles

Daliy Rendezvous    ·- Recovers One Pump Action, handsets, chains, pard-locks charms, others   The Adamawa state police command has dislodged a criminal gang hideout at Damare, Maiha local government of Adamawa state. The police during the crackdown killed 3 of the criminal elements, rescuing four kidnapped residents of Holma and Sorou communities in Song and Maiha local governments respectively, recovered 2 AK-47 rifles and a pomp action gun, among other items. This is contained in a press statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer,  Suleiman Nguroje, over the weekend in Yola, Adamawa' state. The police command said it has rescued four persons unharmed including, a 50 year old woman, Hafsatu Musa, two 20 year old men, Idirisa Hammadu and Abdul Adamu and a 22 year old, Musa Hammadu from the den of the kidnappers. Adamawa Police Command Crackdown on Criminally, Arrests 13 for Kidnapping

Daily Rendezvous  The Adamawa state Police Command has dislodged some criminal gangs in the state and arrested 13 members of a kidnapping ring and recovered various weapons used in criminal activities. The items recovered by the police during the raid include; one AK47 rifle, two locally-made double barrel pistols, two Dane guns, 24 rounds of live ammunition, One leg chain padlock, military uniforms, three motorcycles and a sum of N358,500. This was made known by the Adamawa state Commissioner of Police, CP. S.K Akande at a press briefing held, Monday in Yola, Adamawa State. After 8 Days in Captivity, Kidnapped Adamawa Journalist Regains Freedom

Daily Rendezvous After over a week in captivity, the kidnapped female journalist, Amrah Ahmed Diska, has regained her Freedom in the early hours of Wednesday morning. The news of her release was released by her husband, Ahmad Isa Mbamba at around 1:32am of Wednesday informing her colleagues on the ABC Yola Staff WhatsApp platform that his wife has been released. “Alhamdulilla.Amra has regained her freedom and is reunited with her family. She has returned safely.  "Our sincere thanks to all colleagues for their show of concern and prayers,” he said. Police Nabs 3-Man Extortion Gang in Adamawa

Daily Rendezvous The Adamawa state police command has arrested a three-man extortion syndicate in Adamawa notorious for threatening and duping residents of Adamawa state. The three man suspects, Suleiman Adamu, a 34years a resident of Alkali Street, Demsawo, Abdullahi Ayuba, a 36 year old resident of Ghana Crescent, Bekaji and one Zainab Ahondu, a 50 year old woman from, Jalingo,Taraba State, were nabbed at their respective hideouts at Viniklang and Doubeli, after a tip off to police detectives at the State Intelligence Bureau leading to a thorough search and subsequent arrest of the gang. In a press statement issued by the Adamawa Police Public Relations Officer, Suleiman Nguroje, the force said, "Investigations so far revealed that the suspects always extort their victims using text messages, threatening to kidnap them if certain amount were not paid.
