Daily Rendezvous The president of the Northern Youth Leaders Forum (NYLF) and Secretary General of Association of West African Monarchs (AWAM), Comrade Eliot Afiyo, has received with sadness  the passing away of an Elder stateswoman, Chief Fibi Nancy Nadah the sad event which happened on the 13th of November, 2022. Comrade Elliot made the remarks in a statement he made available to this medium, over the weekend. AWAM Endorses Gov. Bala Mohammed for President

Daily Rendezvous The Secretary-General of the Association of West African Monarchs,(AWAM) Comrade Elliot Afiyo, has thrown the weight of the the organization behind the Bauchi state governor, Bala Mohammed, to emerge as Nigeria's president, saying he is the "Messiah" that would deliver Nigeria and the West African sub-region from its current security and developmental challenges. Elliot said, it is paramount that a visionary, just, dynamic and open-minded leader emerges as Nigeria's next president saying Nigeria's peace and progress equals West Africa's progress too. He made this known at the 17th Biannial round table discussions of the West African monarchs held at Accra, Ghana. Daily Rendezvous The Northern Youth Leaders Forum (NYLF) with its 42 affiliate groups, has endorsed, the Bauchi state governor, Bala Mohammed, of Bauchi state as its preferred candidate foe 2023 presidency. The Forum, led by its national chairman, Afiyo Elliot, said it voted for the first time to endorse Mohammed, who scored 116 votes to beat his closest challenger, Raymond Dokpesi, who scored 28 votes, saying it is time for Nigeria's restoration and that after careful consideration and investigation, the group has confidence, Bala Mohammed, has the capacity and competence to address Nigeria's economic, political and security challenges.
