Daily Rendezvous The EFCC has arrested the former Anambra state Governor Willie Obiano. Obiano was arrested at the Muhammed Murtala Mohammed airport in Lagos as he was about to board a flight to Houston Texas, United States of America. Obiano who has been on Nigeria's anticorruption agency's watchlist was arrested and moved to EFCC's Lagos office. Details later...

Daily Rendezvous Former Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo has been sworn in as the governor of Anambra State. Soludo was sworn in at the state government house on Thursday. The former CBN governor was elected on the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA). Soludo won the Anambra governorship election with 112,229 votes in 2021. The swearing-in ceremony was however overshadowed by a fist fight between two Anambra's strong women, Bianca Ojukwu and Elechukwu Obiano.
