Dignitaries Converge in Yola for Burial of Former Customs Comptroller General, Ahmad Aliyu Mustapha
Daily Rendezvous YOLA Eminent Nigerians from across the country gathered in Yola for the burial of the late Comptroller General of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Alhaji Ahmad Aliyu Mustapha, who served as the head of the Service between 1999 and 2003. He passed away in Abuja after a brief illness. Among the dignitaries in attendance was the current Comptroller General of Customs and President of the World Customs Organization, Alhaji Bashir Adewale Adeniyi (MFR). In a condolence message delivered during the ceremony, Adeniyi described the late Mustapha as a visionary leader who served the Customs Service with distinction.
