Governor Fintiri Felicitates With Muslims At the Commencement Of Ramadan Fast
Daily Rendezvous Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has congratulated the Muslim Ummah in Adamawa for the successful commencement of Ramadan fast today Tuesday following the sighting of the moon in some parts of the country Monday evening. The Governor observed that "Ramadan is one of the pillars of Islam and the most sacred month of the year in the Islamic culture which capable Muslims fast for the period of 29 or 30 days." Governor Umaru Fintiri says "We should during this blessed Ramadan abstain from pleasures and pray to become closer to God. It is also a time for families and people to gather and pray for abundant reward from Allah."
