Daily Rendezvous The leadership and members of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Adamawa, heartily felicitate with all the Muslim Ummah and the entire people of Adamawa state on the occasion of this Year's Eid-el-Fitr. The party congratulates all Muslim faithfuls over the completion of the one-month long Ramadan fast and prayers, praying that all the prayers and supplications made will be answered and that all the lessons learnt in the cause of the Ramadan, will become the daily character of all faithfuls. Daily Rendezvous The Socail Democratic Party SDP, is regrouping in Adamawa as the party has held its congress at its head office in Yola where it elected new executives to steer the affairs of the party heading into the elections year, 2023. The party elected Mal Abubakar Yusuf as its chairman, Chief Nagama Mamadu, as the Secretary, as Jbrilla Abdulaziz remains the Organising Secretary of the party. The party says it is ready to challenge for every political office in the party. It also says the level of it's organisation is a sign of greater things to come in 2023. Daily Rendezvous One of Adamawa's longest serving Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) member, Dr. Umar Ardo, has dumped the party to join the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Adamawa state. Ardo who was at his Yelli ward in Kojoli, Jada Adamawa state, has officiallly tendered a letter of resignation from the PDP citing impunity, injustice and dishonesty as intelerable traits that have come to characterise his former party and that they were the anomalies he had to contend with since 2011. Ardo made the remarks over the weekend at Kojoli in Jada, Adamawa state.
