Adamawa ADC Youth, Demand Greater Inclusion in Party Leadership
Daily Rendezvous The Coalition of All ADC Youth and Women Organizations in Adamawa State has called for greater inclusion of young people and women in the leadership and decision-making structures of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), insisting that their participation should be treated as a right rather than a privilege. The call was contained in a communiqué issued at the end of a meeting of the coalition held in Yola on Saturday, October 4, 2025, and presented by its chairman, Hon. Mohammed All Scams. Highlighting that young people account for about 70% of Nigeria’s population while women make up 62%, the coalition stressed that the two groups remain the backbone of the country’s democratic processes and deserve proportional representation in political party structures.
