Daily Rendezvous The Gospel Advancement, Leadership Initiative(GALI) condemn in strong terms the gruesome murder of Deborah Yakubu, a 200 level student of Economics at the Shehu Shagari College of Education Sokoto on account of religious intolerance.  We view this act of callousness and barbarism as unbecoming of students of a higher institution in Nigeria. Freedom of religion is a right enshrined in the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999. Arising from the foregoing, no state is allowed to create a state religion. Citizens of this country are free to reside in any part of this Country and practice their religion without fear. Governor Fintiri Felicitates With Muslims At the Commencement Of Ramadan Fast

Daily Rendezvous Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has congratulated the Muslim Ummah in Adamawa for the successful commencement of Ramadan fast today Tuesday following the sighting of the moon in some parts of the country Monday evening. The Governor observed that "Ramadan is one of the pillars of Islam and the most sacred month of the year in the Islamic culture which capable Muslims fast for the period of 29 or 30 days." Abdulrazaak Namdas has reached out to members of his constituency with food items. Namdas who is representing Ganye, Jada, Tongo, and Mayo-Belwa federal constituency has maintained this gesture since assuming office in 2015.
