Daily Rendezvous The Gospel Advancement, Leadership Initiative(GALI) condemn in strong terms the gruesome murder of Deborah Yakubu, a 200 level student of Economics at the Shehu Shagari College of Education Sokoto on account of religious intolerance.  We view this act of callousness and barbarism as unbecoming of students of a higher institution in Nigeria. Freedom of religion is a right enshrined in the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999. Arising from the foregoing, no state is allowed to create a state religion. Citizens of this country are free to reside in any part of this Country and practice their religion without fear.
