EU Donates EUR 4.2 million to WFP Operations to Rescue Over 1.1 million Food insecure Persons in Cameroon, Adamawa

The intervention will go a long way to address emergency food needs of internally displaced persons and host communities WFP is working to provide life-saving food assistance to more than 300,000 women, men and children affected by the conflict in both regions The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) commends European Union (EU) for a contribution of EUR 4.2 million from through the union's Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations Department (ECHO) to strengthen WFP response to the emergency food needs of 598,000 people in the northwest and southwest regions of Cameroon.
