Daily Rendezvous Universities to Reopen 17th October 2022 as Federal Govt Agrees To Pay The Outstanding 8 Months' Salaries. Revitalization and salary areas have been cleared. Although the issue of UTAS is not finalized, for now, ASUU members have agreed to resume October 17th.

Daily Rendezvous The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) Monday, has  issued a three weeks ultimatum to the Buhari led government, to quickly implement the memorandum of understanding it signed with the body about a year ago,or else it would reverts to strike action. This is coming as the Senior Staff Association of Universities and the Non-Academic Staff Union of Universities met to deliberate next moves over the failure of the Federal Government to meet the union’s demands. It would be recalled that the Federal Government had signed a memorandum of understanding with the unions last year and promising to fulfill demands ranging from payment of earned allowances, introduction of the UTAS platform for University workers, payment of revitalization fund for Universities, among others. Good News for ADSU Students As Management Set Date for Resumption. -Tells Students to Disregard Any Rumour on School Calendar

Daily Rendezvous The Adamawa state university, has fixed 2nd of February, 2021 as the tentative date for school resumption. The date was scheduled following an emergency Senate meeting held 14 January, 2021. This is contained in a press statement issued by the university information and protocol officer, Belmond Benson, and made available to newsmen, Thursday, in Yola, Adamawa state.   The statement reads, "The Adamawa State University Senate has approved Tuesday, 2nd February, 2021 as the tentative date for reopening of the Institution for resumption of Academic activities.    "The date was approved by the Senate at an emergency meeting held today 14th January, 2021."   The statement adds that, "It should be noted that all non-pharmaceutical COVID-19 protocols would be strictly observed everywhere on campus and every student must undertake to abide by all the COVID-19 protocols both within and outside the campus.    "Students are ex...
