Sadiq Ibrahim Dasin, extended its Local Government Area tour to Song, Girei and Yola North, recording massive turnout and renewed grassroots enthusiasm. The visit, held on Monday, was marked by packed venues during the inauguration of local government transition structures, with party members and supporters turning out in large numbers to demonstrate growing confidence in the ADC’s political direction ahead of the 2027 general elections. Daily Rendezvous ‎The Coalition of All ADC Youth and Women Organizations in Adamawa State has called for greater inclusion of young people and women in the leadership and decision-making structures of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), insisting that their participation should be treated as a right rather than a privilege. ‎ ‎The call was contained in a communiqué issued at the end of a meeting of the coalition held in Yola on Saturday, October 4, 2025, and presented by its chairman, Hon. Mohammed All Scams. ‎ ‎Highlighting that young people account for about 70% of Nigeria’s population while women make up 62%, the coalition stressed that the two groups remain the backbone of the country’s democratic processes and deserve proportional representation in political party structures. ‎ ‎ADC as a political party should harness the raw potential embodied in young people and women by reserving at least 50% of elective positions within the party’s structures for them.
