Daily Rendezvous ‎The Coalition of All ADC Youth and Women Organizations in Adamawa State has called for greater inclusion of young people and women in the leadership and decision-making structures of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), insisting that their participation should be treated as a right rather than a privilege. ‎ ‎The call was contained in a communiqué issued at the end of a meeting of the coalition held in Yola on Saturday, October 4, 2025, and presented by its chairman, Hon. Mohammed All Scams. ‎ ‎Highlighting that young people account for about 70% of Nigeria’s population while women make up 62%, the coalition stressed that the two groups remain the backbone of the country’s democratic processes and deserve proportional representation in political party structures. ‎ ‎ADC as a political party should harness the raw potential embodied in young people and women by reserving at least 50% of elective positions within the party’s structures for them.
