Daily Rendezvous The chairman of the correspondents' Chapel of the NUJ, Adamawa state chapter, Comrade Padio Phineas, the Media has a responsibility to uphold good in the society and raise the alarm when the system is dysfunctional. Padio said, the media is at the fore of promoting good governance and that as members of the fourth estate of the realm, it is obliged to being to the limelight actions and inactions of government and people in power for public good. Daily Rendezvous The announcement of the death of Adamawa based journalist, Ibrahim Abdulaziz, has left the media community and the entire state, reverberating with shock. Ibrahim, was said to have died in a ghastly motor accident along Gombe-Bauchi road, Friday. Aziz, was committed to his duty and responsibilities as a media practitioner, having worked effectively and efficiently across various Media genre and has continued to be in tune with changing media offerings. The Burial of Late Ibrahim Abdulaziz, the correspondent of VOA who died in a fatal road crash has been fixed for Saturday 6 February 2021 at 2:00pm at Abuja road near Atiku Abubakar's staff quarters. The corpse leaves Bauchi early in the morning Saturday for Yola in company of Bauchi Council. Members of the NUJ are expected to converge at Unions office any moment from 12:30 pm before proceeding to Yola for the burial.
