Daily Rendezvous Northern Youth Leaders Forum (NYLF), has described  the Lagos declaration by the Southern governors demanding for a Southern President in 2023 as provocative, insensitive, offensive, confrontational and a political assault on all well meaning Nigerian. According to the group, it is a deliberate and intentional scheming to project the political interest of some few individuals against a collective National interest and concern for the overall wellbeing of Nigeria. Daily Rendezvous The Northern Leaders Youth Forum (NLYF) the umbrella body for some forty two northern youth groups have endorsed the ban on open grazing in the country and has also called for a national dialogue to address the countries problems. The Northern Leaders Youth Forum made this known at its 27th delegates' conference held in Yola, Adamawa State. Daily Rendezvous The Northern Youth Leaders Forum (NYLF) says it is not unawares of the scheemings, intimidation techniques and attempt at coertion by some powerful Nigerians, including a retired general, to infiltrate the decision of the delegates of the forum towards changing its decisions that narrowed down its presidential candidacy to Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi state and Raymond Dokpesi. The Forum states that it would not be intimidated or cornered into reversing its decision by including a third name which is the name of a sitting governor. Daily Rendezvous The Northern Youth Leaders Forum (NYLF) has denounced as false and a figment of some media's imaginations, the claims in some local and international media, that it has endorsed Nyesom Wike as its candidate for presidency come 2023. The national chairman of the Forum, Elliot Afiyo, said, the organisation is not unaware of the desperation and the scheemings of some groups in view of the 2023 presidency, but NLYF has its protocols for endorsing a candidate and that the process is already in progress to endorse a candidate.
