Daily Rendezvous The Adamawa state governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has formally declared to run for the governorship of the state. Fintiri said he has decided to run for a second term because the majority of the people of Adamawa have endorsed his leadership style and have expressed satisfaction with the progress the state is enjoying under the PDP. He said the outstanding works of the PDP in the last three years speaks volumes of the work the PDP led government is implemting in the state and that he has begun to build a great society where nothing is left untouched and no one is left behind. Daily Rendezvous The PDP in Adamawa has in a landslide, sweep all the 21 local governments elections held on Saturday acrosss the state. The elections which was scheduled to open in the early hours of Saturday started a late in some communities and poling units. The PDP however clinched all the 21 Chairmanship seats of all the local governments in the state. The opposition party in the state, the APC has however kicked against the outcome of the elections claiming that elections did not hold in most of the local governments.
