ADAMAWA LG POLLS: PDP Sweeps APC Aside to Win All 21 LGAs - Opposition Fumes Over Conduct of Elections

The PDP in Adamawa has in a landslide, sweep all the 21 local governments elections held on Saturday acrosss the state.

The elections which was scheduled to open in the early hours of Saturday started a late in some communities and poling units.

The PDP however clinched all the 21 Chairmanship seats of all the local governments in the state.

The opposition party in the state, the APC has however kicked against the outcome of the elections claiming that elections did not hold in most of the local governments.
In a viral video making rounds in on the social media, the former Chairman of the Lamurde local government, Hon. Vrati Nzonzo, was heard criticising the State independent Electoral body (ADSIEC) for not conducting elections in his local government for fear that the ruling party might loose.

It can also be recalled that the National Vice Chairman, Northeast, of the APC, had earlier over the weekend said, the APC will kick against any perceived manipulation of results by the ruling party.
