Police Command Dislodges Criminal Hideout in Adamawa', Kill 3, Rescues 4, Recovers 2 AK-47 Rifles

Daliy Rendezvous    ·- Recovers One Pump Action, handsets, chains, pard-locks charms, others   The Adamawa state police command has dislodged a criminal gang hideout at Damare, Maiha local government of Adamawa state. The police during the crackdown killed 3 of the criminal elements, rescuing four kidnapped residents of Holma and Sorou communities in Song and Maiha local governments respectively, recovered 2 AK-47 rifles and a pomp action gun, among other items. This is contained in a press statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer,  Suleiman Nguroje, over the weekend in Yola, Adamawa' state. The police command said it has rescued four persons unharmed including, a 50 year old woman, Hafsatu Musa, two 20 year old men, Idirisa Hammadu and Abdul Adamu and a 22 year old, Musa Hammadu from the den of the kidnappers. Killers on the Loose: Bandits 26 in Kaduna, 37 in Zamfara, abduct 62, Raze 70 houses

Daily Rendezvous The relentless wave of killing spree has continued in the far northern part of Nigeria in Kaduna and Zamfara where over 60 lives have been killed and properties worth millions of naira have been destroyed. Twenty-five persons, including two military personnel, were reportedly killed, while a riot policeman allegedly shot a passerby and no fewer than 70 houses were razed on Sunday following an attack by terrorists on Agban Kagoro in Kaura LGA of Kaduna State. Similarly, in Zamfara State, bandits were reported to have killed 37 persons and kidnapped 62 others in Juyi and Doruwa villages in the Bungudu Local Government Area, while 20 others were killed in Ganar-Kiyawa village in the Bukkuyum Local Government Area on Saturday. The Kaduna killings sparked protests on Monday as irate youths from the affected area blocked the road and attacked travellers. Terrorist Invade Niger Police Station, Kill DPO, 2 Other Police Officers

Daily Rendezvous Gunmen suspected to be bandit-terrorists have surrounded Nasko Divisional Police Office and killed the DPO in Niger State. The DPO, one Umar Mohammed Digari, was killed on Tuesday, alongside two other policemen. Dakingari, a Chief Superintendent of Police, CSP, was the DPO of Nasko Division of the State Police Command, before his death. Security: Katsina Police Neutralize 38 Bandits, Recovers 109 Anti-Aircraft Ammunition

Daily Rendezvous The  Police Command  in Katsina State said that  it recovered no less  than 109 Anti-Aircraft Ammunition (AA) and other items from bandits between January and  December 2021 in the state. The Command’s Spokesperson, SP Gambo Isa, disclosed this in Katsina. Bandits Gun Down Kaduna House of Assembly member

Daily Rendezvous A member of the Kaduna State House of Assembly representing Giwa West Constituency, Rilwanu Gagadau, has been killed by bandits. Rilwanu was the chairman of the House Committee on Local Government. He was among those recently attacked by the bandits along Zaria-Kaduna Highway, leading to his death. The Kaduna State House of Assembly confirmed the incident through the house clerk. Also confirming the incident, the Speaker of the Assembly, Yusuf Zailani, described the lawmaker’s death as tragic. In a statement on Wednesday, he revealed that Gadagau died during the attack by bandits along the highway and his body was recovered two days later. “This is tragic and painful. Daily Rendezvous Suspected gunmen are reported to have abducted over 300 female students of Government Girls Secondary School (GGSS) Jangebe in Talata Mafara Local Government area of Zamfara state. Local sources said, the gunmen stormed the school in droves at around at around 1am -2am while the students were fast asleep and made abducted about 300 female students. Daily Rendezvous The lawmaker representing Gombi Constituency in the Adamawa state house of  assembly, Japhet Kefas, has called for immediate military intervention in Garkida to forestll a possible second attack by the Boko haram insurgents on Garkida. Kefas said local sightngs suggests that some Boko Haram fighters have been spotted in 9 trucks around kalamba, in the outskirts of Garkda, Saturday evening. He explained that the sightings has triggered panic and unrest in the community adding that movements was similar to the kind which the insurgents made in the attack on Garkida on the eve of Christmas.
