Police Arrest 2 Persons Over Armoured Cable Vandalisation, Theft
Daily Rendezvous The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested two persons for allegedly vandalizing armoured cables connecting Boronji Water Treatment plant. The police made this known in a statement by the Spokesman of the Command, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, in Yola Nguroje said that the police operatives attached to Dougirei Divisional Police Headquarters arrested the suspects while attempting to dismantle the cable. Those apprehended include 17 years old Emmanuel Joseph and 25 years Yohanna Sulei who reside at Boronji community in Yola North LGA. SP Nguroje said that the operatives while on confidence building patrol along Boronji Water Treatment plant, responded to distress call from the manager of the water treatment plant, alerting them of the activities of the vandals.
