Daily Rendezvous The Secretary-General of the Association of West African Monarchs,(AWAM) Comrade Elliot Afiyo, has thrown the weight of the the organization behind the Bauchi state governor, Bala Mohammed, to emerge as Nigeria's president, saying he is the "Messiah" that would deliver Nigeria and the West African sub-region from its current security and developmental challenges. Elliot said, it is paramount that a visionary, just, dynamic and open-minded leader emerges as Nigeria's next president saying Nigeria's peace and progress equals West Africa's progress too. He made this known at the 17th Biannial round table discussions of the West African monarchs held at Accra, Ghana.
