1 Person Killed, 2 Injured As Gunmen Attack Adamawa Community
Daily Rendezvous A 25 year young man, Sheriff Yongo, from Dong in Demsa, has been killed and two others were reported injured by unknown gunmen Saturday, following a brutal attack while returning from LCCN Convention in Numan. The corpse of the slain Sheriff had already been deposited in mortuary at Numan General Hospital. Eyewitnesses, Gambo and Benedict narrating the incident said, the assailants suspected to be herdsmen laid ambush approaching Dong Village in the night and attacked them while returning home after the evening session of the LCCN convention. “They swutched-on ttheir torchlights on us and started approaching in various groups. We immediately ran into the nearby bushes while sheriff was caught by the assailants.
