- Gov. Fintiri Condemns Attack, Orders Security Chiefs to Fish out Perpetrators  

Sone unknown gunmen are reported to have attacked the hone of one Reverend Daniel Umaru of the EYN Church in Njairi Mubi local government area of Adamawa state, killing his two sons, kidnapped his daughter, shot the reverend but survided and the wife unconscious at the hospital as a result of the trauma of the attack.

Locals told Daily Sun that the attack happened around late Tuesday night.

The Adamawa state Governor reacting to the incident condemned the act and ordered the security operatives in the state to fishout the perpetrators.

Gov. Fibtiri said, "I condemned the attack by gunmen on the home of Reverend Daniel Umaru of EYN Church Njairi in Mubi Local Government area of the State.

"The gunmen who shot the Pastor killed two of his sons, kidnap his 13 year old daughter."

Gov. Fintiri while condoling the family over the death of their Children described as shocking and barbaric the action of the gunmen.

Fintiri said, "The State Government condemns in the strongest terms the despicable attack on this innocent family; the perpetrators of this heinous act must be brought to justice, and we have offered our full support to the Security Agencies to do so," Governor Fintiri said, adding that Government would continue to confront crime in all its forms, including "the threat posed by kidnappers."

While comforting the family and the EYN Church over tge unfortunate incident, Gov. Fintiri directed Security agencies to scale up intelligence and fish out the criminals, adding that "They must be brought to justice for crimes against humanity."

    Is Njairi in Mubi local Govt Area?
    As far l know, the Mubi/Hong boarder is at the Custom check point and Njairi is west of that.
