Adamawa: Only The Bad Eggs Left, r-PDP to PDP, "They Wanted Rice"

Daily Rendezvous
r-PDP has reacted to claims by the PDP state chiarman, AT Shehu, that its entire state executive have left the party, saying only eight members of the state excos left and the remaining twenty two are still with the group.

The group in a statement issued by its new acting state chairman, Ethan Bugi said, it is only the bad eggs among the r-PDP members that left and their main reasons for leaving was because they were not given rice.

The group called on Adamawa residents to steer clear of the Fintiri led government which they claim is corrupt and is leading the state into doom.

The acting chairman of the group, ethan Bugi said, "I am sure by now it is no news that some few members of rPDP including the acting state chairman and acting Secretary and few miscreants have left us to join forces with the decadent regime and the illegal PDP structures in the state.
"They are about eight of them, otherwise the entire structures of the rPDP from ward, Local Governments to State remain intact.

"Actually those that left are men with little or no value who think only of their stomachs.

"Their main reason for leaving rPDP is that our leader, Dr. Umar Ardo, has distributed rice in his home local government and did not give them. On this, we plead guilty, because the rice Dr. Ardo distributed was to the less privileged Adamawa indigenes who are ravaged by the poor, bad and corrupt government policies in the state which is accentuated by the Coronavirus lockdown.

"The rice was not meant for political jobbers, hangers-on and leaches like them who depend on such handouts for their survival."

He added that, "In any case, for the rPDP, their going is a huge relief; it is a good riddance to bad rubbish - puerile eggs have been discarded! Now we will inject real people with real political values in our movement. You have seen their own, wait and see our own.

"I therefore, on behalf of all genuine rPDP members, advise the good people of Adamawa state to stay clear of the present system in the state; it is corrupt, venal and bereft of all good ideas.

"Except urgent and concrete steps are taken the system is geared to doom the future of this potentially great state. It is a truism that when the rogue rule, the people come to grief.

"To be forewarned, the English say, is to be forearmed. It is such necessary step that the rPDP is poised to take in order to salvage the state. On this, we are committed and there is no going back until all rights of all Adamawa people are fully and completely restored."

Earlier on, the Adamawa state chairman of the PDP, Barr. A.T. Shehu, had slammed the group calling it a renegade group that lack legitimacy to exist.

Shehu said, "They are not a registered party and we suspe they are flaunting a forged membership registration forms which we have lready reported to the police.

"How can you in good conscience claim that your group is still intact after your state chairman has left with his supporters.

"That group called r-PDP is dead and gone in Adamawa."
