Daily Rendezvous
In a rare independence day celebration and show of humanity, the Senator representing Southern Adamawa, Binos Dauda Yaroe, has donated some set of twenty five (25) life jackets to the Association Boat and Canoe owners in Numan as a support gesture designed to enhance safety in water travels.
Sen. Binos, while acknowledging the difficult circumstances the people of the area find themselves as a result if heavy flooding said safety is critical and he would do all within his power to protect and support his Constituents.
Having travelled through the water to assess the plight of his constituents who have been submerged by flood, the senator was able to see first hand the real danger his constituents face while travelling the treacherous voyage on water to their homes. The senator donated some set of 25 Life jackets in order to forestall loss of lives in the event of heavy flooding or boat mishap.
According to the leader of the boat owners association, Timothy J. this kind gesture will go a long way in boosting the confidence of travellers and prevent unnecessary loss of lives.
"We thank the senator for this kind gesture. We made such request the other time and here he is doing exactly what we requested for.
"We have never had such a leader as Senator Binos who genuinely cares for the welfare of his people. He was refusing to even have a photo session with us because he wants it to be done quietly because he does not do anything for political advantage but because he cares.
"We know those who come because they want to take advantage of our situation for political gains. Sen. Binos is not one of those people. We thank you again," Timothy said.
