Adamawa State Govt Set to Hold Aptitude Test for Post Primary School Applicants

Daily Rendezvous The Adamawa state government, has slated between 8th to 16 of April, 2021 as scheduled dates for aptitude test for applicants into the post primary school management board of the state. The exercise which is scheduled to hold as scheduled for every zone will begin on 8th of April, 2021 for Yola zone and end on 16th of April, 2021 for Mubi Zone with other zones in between. This is contained in a press statement issued by the Deputy Permanent Secretary, ministry of education, Sunday Stephen, and Made available to Daily Rendezvous, Wednesday, in Yola Adamawa state. The statement reads, "The Adamawa State Government has approved the following dates for Aptitude Test for all applicants who applied for recruitment into the Post Primary Schools Management Board. Police Nabs 3-Man Extortion Gang in Adamawa

Daily Rendezvous The Adamawa state police command has arrested a three-man extortion syndicate in Adamawa notorious for threatening and duping residents of Adamawa state. The three man suspects, Suleiman Adamu, a 34years a resident of Alkali Street, Demsawo, Abdullahi Ayuba, a 36 year old resident of Ghana Crescent, Bekaji and one Zainab Ahondu, a 50 year old woman from, Jalingo,Taraba State, were nabbed at their respective hideouts at Viniklang and Doubeli, after a tip off to police detectives at the State Intelligence Bureau leading to a thorough search and subsequent arrest of the gang. Fintiri Wins Best Performing Governor in Rural Infrastructure And Community Development

Daily Rendezvous Several students have been reported injured and some part of the building on campus were set ablazed, after a combined forces of military personnel and police officers unleashed unbelievable horror on the main campus of the Adamawa state polytechnic, Yola, attacking students with clubs and machete. Daily Rendezvous   The national president of the Nigerian Association of Women Journalist, Ladi Bala, has called on governmnent at all levels to quickly address the unabated kidnapping of girls in schools across the country. Ladi pointed out that the abductions at Kankara, Jangebe, and Kaduna are one abductions too many and governmnent should address the growing insecurity in the country. Breaking: 279 Jangebe Female Students Regain Freedom - But Where Are The Remaining 38 Girls?

Daily Rendezvous 279 Female students of Government Girls Secondary School (GGSS) Jangebe in Talata Mafara local government area, Zamfara state who were abducted by gunmen, Friday have been rescued. The 279 rescued female students were arrived Gusau in convoy of several buses including two coaster buses and 18 seater buses. The rescued girls started arriving the Government House Gusau around 4 am of Tuesday and were received by governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle, the first lady Hajia Aisha Bello Matawalle and heads of security agencies in the state. There has been however no word on the whereabouts of the remaining girls as News Rendezvous earlier reported that about 317 female students were abducted by the bandits.
