Gov. Jibrilla Dissolves 19 LG. Council Chairpersons By Billy Graham Abel Yola. The Adamawa state governor, Mohammed Umaru Jibrilla has approved the dissolution of 19 local government council chair persons in Adamawa state. The dissolution which takes effect from the 31st of July, 2018 is in line with the local government council law No.4. 2000 of the 1999 constitution as amended. This is contained in a press statement signed by the Adamawa state Commissioner of Information and strategy, Ahmed Sajoh, and made available to Newsmen, Tuesday.  "The tenure of the 19 local government council chairmen ends today 31st July 2018 having been sworn-in on the 30th July, 2016," the statement said. Gov. Jibrilla Appoints New Head of ADSEMA By Billy Graham Abel Yola The Adamawa state governor, Muhammed Umaru Jibrilla has approved the appointment of Muhammad Amin Suleiman as the Executive Secretary of the Adamawa State Emergency Management Agency, ADSEMA, with effect from the 31st of July, 2018. This is contained in a press statement signed by the Adamawa state commissioner for information and strategy, Ahmed Sajoh and made available to Newsmen, Tuesday in Yola. The press statement said, the appointment is in line with the provisions of part three of sections 7 and 8(1) of the Adamawa state emergency management agency law of 2009 and that Suleiman is the most senior director in the agency. While making reference to the recent appointment of eight Muslim special assistants, Babachir said such actions are capable of undermining APC'S chances and swinging votes towards the opposition.
