Gov. Fintiri Mourns The Death Ahmed Gulak

Daily Rendezvous Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has described as shocking the gruesome murder of a former Speaker of the Adamawa State Assembly and former Special Adviser on Political Affairs to former President Goodluck Jonathan. Fintiri said the death of Ahmed Gulak was painful and a reflection of the wickedness of the wicked.  Governor Fintiri while comforting the Nation, the All Progressives Congress and his immediate family, described the late Gulak as a witty, determined and practical Politician whose rise in life was as a result of sheer hard work. President Goodluck's Former Adviser, Barr. Ali Gulak Killed By Armed Gunmen

Daily Rendezvous The former Adviser, Political, to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Barr Ali Gulak, is reported to have been gun down by some unknown armed gun, in Owerri, Imo State. This is contained in a press statement issued by the Imo police command and signed by its PPRO, Bala Eliana. The state reads, "On the 30/5/2021, at about 07:20hrs, armed bandits intercepted and attacked a Toyota Camry cab carrying Ahmed Gulak and two others who were on their way to Sam Mbakwe Airport to catch a flight. "Ahmed Gulak left his room at Protea Hotel without informing the Police nor sister agencies in view of the fragile security situation in the South East and Imo in particular." 2023: North's Most Influential Group Set to Endorse Gov. Bala Mohammed or Dokpesi for President

Daily Rendezvous The North's most influential group, Northern Leaders Youth Forum (NLYF) is set to endorse either Bauchi state governor, Bala Mohammed or media mogul and founder of DAAR Communications, Raymond Dokpesi, come 5th June, 2021. The group, during its 27th national delegates conference held in Yola, Adamawa state, said, it would not be intimidated from endorseing either Bala Mohammed or Dokpesi, come 5th June, 2021. Northern Youth Forum Backs Ban On Open Grazing. -Tells Presidency to Caution Malami, Others, Over Utterances Against Nigerians

Daily Rendezvous The Northern Leaders Youth Forum (NLYF) the umbrella body for some forty two northern youth groups have endorsed the ban on open grazing in the country and has also called for a national dialogue to address the countries problems. The Northern Leaders Youth Forum made this known at its 27th delegates' conference held in Yola, Adamawa State. Southern governors have penultimate week issued a ban on open grazing in the Southern part of the country. Chief of Army Staff, Gen Attahiru, Dies in a Plane Crash

Daily Rendezvous Nigeria's Chief of Army Staff, Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru Dies in a plane Crash. The plane Crash is reported to have happened near Kaduna International Airport involving an air force air craft. The cause of the craft is yet unknown but the Nigerian Army has confirmed the death of the Chief of Army Staff. The Nigerian Air force had earlier announced the plane Crash via its twitter handle saying,  "Nigerian Air Force @NigAirForce An air crash involving a @NigAirForce aircraft occurred this evening near the Kaduna International Airport. Powerful Nigerians Trying to Intimidate NLYF Delegates From Endorsing Bala Mohammed, Dokpesi, Ahead of National Delegates Conference- Northern Youth Forum Alleges

Daily Rendezvous The Northern Youth Leaders Forum (NYLF) says it is not unawares of the scheemings, intimidation techniques and attempt at coertion by some powerful Nigerians, including a retired general, to infiltrate the decision of the delegates of the forum towards changing its decisions that narrowed down its presidential candidacy to Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi state and Raymond Dokpesi. The Forum states that it would not be intimidated or cornered into reversing its decision by including a third name which is the name of a sitting governor. This was made known in a statement issued by the Zonal Coordinator (North West) of the NYLF, Sadiq Musa, and made available to Newsmen, Wednesday.
