Atiku Promises Three Million Jobs Each Year The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar, has promised to create three million jobs every year if he is elected as president in the 2019 election. This is one of the key points in the policy document released by the PDP flagbearer today (Sunday), which details a seven-year timeline in which he intends to deliver on his campaign promises. Apart from job creation, the document also lists three other areas of priority namely infrastructure development, human capital development and poverty eradication. According to the former Vice President, he has plans to lift 50 million Nigerians out of poverty, by 2025. Furthermore, he stated that he has plans to privatise the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and also sell all four national refineries. PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI SIGNS BILL FOR AN ACT TO ESTABLISH NCDC As a demonstration of his commitment to national health security, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, has signed the Bill for an Act to establish the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC). Since its establishment in 2011, NCDC has demonstrated its capacity to protect the health of Nigerians by delivering on its core functions of preparedness, detection and response to outbreaks of infectious diseases. This new Act which will establish NCDC as a full-fledged parastatal, will also ensure that its valuable work is sustained and supported. Adamawa 2019: Bindow is a Risk APC Cannot Afford To Take- Modi By Billy Graham Abel Yola Sequel to the huge controversy  that trailed the emergence of Umaru Mohammed Jibrilla Bindow as the flag bearer of the APC in Adamawa state, the governor is yet again embroiled in another scandal, a case of certificate forgery in which the governor's entire political career has been thrown into a huge intergrity question, as the cousel to one of the aspirants, Mahmood Halilu Ahmed, has demanded for the arrest and prosecution of the embattled governor describing Bindow as, "A serial academic forger and a habitual criminal perjurer," whose entire political career is a, "criminal enterprise."
