"Buhari Must Go," Atiku Tells North East Youth Group

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and former vice president of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, has urged Nigerian youths to vote out the president Muhammadu Buhari led government in order to secure a better future for themselves.
Atiku made the remarks, Wednesday, during a rally organized by the north east chapter of the Atiku/Obi vanguard for good governance group, in Yola, Adamawa.
Atiku said, "The 2019 elections is about you and your future because everything the APC led government promised Nigerians are things that affects the youths today and would affect their future.
"The 2019 elections is about the future and destiny of the youths in Nigeria.
"I and my generation have lived and this elections is not about what we will get and our stakes are not as high as that of young Nigerians, many of you have a future before you but with so many unfulfilled dreams."
Atiku who did not exonarate himself from the losfty promises of APC, said he was guilty of being of part of the then APC that hudwinked Nigerians with so many of promises that have not been fulfilled.
Atiku slammed the APC saying, "They promised employment but failed to deliver, they promised unity for the country and failed to deliver on that, they promised economic development but failed to deliver, they promised a better future for Nigeria but failed to deliver and this is the time for Nigerian youths to kick the Buhari led government out of office.
"So many of you are yet to get married, own a house, get a job and this is not a government that will deliver that."
The former vice president dramatically led his teeming youth supporters into a chorus of "Buhari Must Go" chant.
Speaking at the occasion, the zonal coordinator of the Atiku/Obi Vanguard for good Governance, Leader Leneke said, the recently launched 'Atiku Plan' is a plan for the redemption for young Nigerians and the youth should accept Atiku candiddacy as a youth project.
Leader said, "Nigeria has been designated the poverty capital of the world, Nigeria has borrowed more money under Muhammed Buhari than it has done, in it's entire independence history, Nigeria has lost more than 10 million jobs in the last three year, and the country is no longer a favourable investment destiny for investors any longer."
The state chairman of the PDP, Tahir Shehu laud Atiku as a person a true democrat with the passion to bring development and progress to the country and specifically for the future of the youths in the country.
"In order to demonstrate his committment for the welfare of Nigerians, Atiku has already approved a N33,000 minimum wage for all his staff.
"We have already registered more than 137 support groups in favour of Atiku and his is committed to taking Nigeria into a era of prosperity and progress."
