Gov. Fintiri Mourns The Death Ahmed Gulak

Daily Rendezvous Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has described as shocking the gruesome murder of a former Speaker of the Adamawa State Assembly and former Special Adviser on Political Affairs to former President Goodluck Jonathan. Daily Rendezvous The former Adviser, Political, to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Barr Ali Gulak, is reported to have been gun down by some unknown armed gun, in Owerri, Imo State. This is contained in a press statement issued by the Imo police command and signed by its PPRO, Bala Eliana. The plane Crash is reported to have happened near Kaduna International Airport involving an air force air craft. The cause of the craft is yet unknown but the Nigerian Army has confirmed the death of the Chief of Army Staff. Daily Rendezvous Trouble seems to be brewing at one of the tertiary institutions in Adamawa, the College of Education Hong, over a recent advertisement for the office of the Provost of the institution, among other offices, as some stakeholders observed that there is a strange alteration in the age requirement as advertised, with the adverts requiring 59 years istead of 55 years for Provost contrary to the provision of the National Commission for Colleges of Education. Daily Rendezvous The Visitation Panel reviewing the activities of the Federal College of Education, Yola, has called for memoranda from stakeholders and members of the public, in order to help facilitate its task of reviewing the college's financial management over a period of time, to determine the college's compliance with appropriate regulations, and to fast track its investigation of the application of funds, including special grants and loans designated for particular projects.
