Again, Gunmen Abduct 300 Female Students in Zamfara

Daily Rendezvous Suspected gunmen are reported to have abducted over 300 female students of Government Girls Secondary School (GGSS) Jangebe in Talata Mafara Local Government area of Zamfara state. Local sources said, the gunmen stormed the school in droves at around at around 1am -2am while the students were fast asleep and made abducted about 300 female students. Daily Rendezvous Multiple campaign posters of Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State as an aspirant for the Presidency come 2023 have flooded Yola, in Adamawa State. The posters which were visible in strategic parts of the Adamawa State capital, Yola, were visibly campaign materials, indicating Yahaya Bello as a fitting personality to be Nigeria's next president. The posters as coined by its proponents made apparent reference to his relative young age, as one of the posters reads, 'For a Generational Change 2023, Yahaya Bello for President' The proponents of the posters, the Nigerian Youth Awareness Group, flooded very part of Yola as they pasted the posters on electricity and street light polls, roundabout walls, on disused signs and billboards, and on about any available space available. 10 Killed, 47 Injured in Multiple Explosions in Maiduguri

Daily Rendezvous About 10 people are reported killed and another 47 people are reported injured in multiple bomb blast around Maiduguri, the state Capital of Borno state. Reports fintering in suggests that the explosion also occured close to the University of Maiduguri, around the students village. The multiple explosions which is said to have happened around Gwange, Kaleri and Bulabulin towns is said to be the handiwork of the Boko Haram insurgents. Recently, the insurgents were reported to have attacked and captured Marte town in Maiduguri, causing no small stare among residents of Maiduguri thus poking holes in Military narratives of claims to diminishing Boko Haram terrorist capacity for attacks within Maiduguri town.  Details later...

SECURITY: Adamawa Community Convenes Security Meeting Over Influx of Suspescious Fulani Herders

Daily Rendezvous The chairman of Lamurde local government council, Burto Williams, has directed that every Fulani herdsman that came into the Numan community without permission should immediately vacate the area and return to their place of origin, until the protocol agreed upon for a mutually respectful farming and grazing activities are observed. Burto explained that at a recent security meeting held at Numan, Demsa and Lamurde, an agreement was reached that herders coming into the Numan community must liase with the local Fulani leaders in order to obtain permission to carry out their activities in peace in the area. Boss said that in the last five years, Buhari’s administration has implemented about 280 ecological intervention projects across the country saying such feat was unprecedented in the history of the country. He explained that so far, 210 of the projects have been completed and commissioned while the rest are at various stages of completion.
