Adamawa 2023: Namdas Begins LG Tour, Urges APC to Trust Him With Guber Ticket

Abdulrazaak Namdas, the frontline governorship aspirant of the All Progressives in Adamawa state has asked the leadership of the party to trust him with the governorship ticket for the 2023 general elections. Namdas who addressed party officials during a meeting at the state party secretariat, Thursday promised to deliver the state to the party come 2023 election if given the mandate, noting that as a grassroot mobilizer, he will galvanize support from within APC and outside the party to ensure victory of the party come 2023. The lawmaker who said APC is the only visible political party in Adamawa State noted that other political parties in the state have fizzled out. Prof. Soludo Sworn-in As Anambra Governor

Daily Rendezvous Former Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo has been sworn in as the governor of Anambra State. Soludo was sworn in at the state government house on Thursday. The former CBN governor was elected on the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA). Soludo won the Anambra governorship election with 112,229 votes in 2021. The swearing-in ceremony was however overshadowed by a fist fight between two Anambra's strong women, Bianca Ojukwu and Elechukwu Obiano.

Terrorist Invade Niger Police Station, Kill DPO, 2 Other Police Officers

Daily Rendezvous Gunmen suspected to be bandit-terrorists have surrounded Nasko Divisional Police Office and killed the DPO in Niger State. The DPO, one Umar Mohammed Digari, was killed on Tuesday, alongside two other policemen. Dakingari, a Chief Superintendent of Police, CSP, was the DPO of Nasko Division of the State Police Command, before his death.
