YOLA – Academic and non-academic staff of Adamawa State-owned tertiary institutions have shutdown all tertiary institutions in the state as a result of failure by the Fintiri-led government to include tertiary institutions in the state in its minimum wage implementation plan. The instructions decided to embarked on an indefinite strike following the government’s failure to address their demand for new minimum wage implementation after its seven-day warning strike elapsed, Monday, 10th March, 2025 as the state government keeps mum.
