BUHARI REJECTS OYEGUN'S TENURE ELONGATION

President Muhammadu Buhari has, Tuesday, described as illegal the tenure elongation for the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), John Odigie-Oyegun and other officials of the party.

President Buhari during the party's stakeholders meeting demanded that decision to extend the party’s national working committee (NWC) led by Oyegun be reconsidered and reversed.

Buhari who spoke at the party’s headquarters in Abuja said the tenure elongation decided upon at the party’s NEC meeting in the 28th of February is against the constitution of the APC.
