It's Official: Buhari's In-Law Declares to Challenge Bindow

An APC stalwart and younger brother to the first lady, Dr. Mahmoud Ahmed has formally declared his intentions to run for the governorship of Adamawa state saying he has the ideas and competence to transform Adamawa state into an industrial and economically sound state that could competence with Lagos.

Mahmoud made the remarks Monday while declaring to contest at the APC Secretariat in Yola, Adamawa state.

Mahmoud said, his leadership would place premium on the youth by tapping into the natural resources of the state to create jobs that will  improve the quality of life of the people of the state.

He lamented that no governments makes progress by having a monolithic style as against the diversified economic agenda of president Muhammadu Buhari.

Mahmoud said the people of the state have been impoverished by the awarded of contract to strange people with no trickle down effect on political actors within the party.

He said he is declaring to contest in order to new ideas into governance and liberate the people of Adamawa from poverty.
