2019: Nigerians Are Tired of APC and PDP-Dr. Garkida

The governorship candidate of the All Grassroot Alliance, AGA, Musa Garkida David, said his advantage going into the 2019 governorship elections in Adamawa state is that Nigerians have become smarter and are weary of the failed leadership of APC and PDP in the country.


He stressed that Nigerians would not not fall for the gimmicks of money politics and that Nigerians would stand their ground to choose people with the idea and solutions to address the country's problems.


Garkida said, the same people that were in PDP moved to APC and are now back again, determined to enslave Nigerians.


Garkida made the remarks over the weekend, during the governorship primary of the All Grassroot Alliance, AGA, in Yola, Adamawa state.


Garkida who unanimously emerged the AGA's flag bearer said, leadership has been the bane of the progress of Adamawa state and his emergence as the governor of Adamawa state would address that loophole in the state.


He explained that, "Adamawa is one of the blessed states in Nigeria in terms of human and natural resources.


"My leadership would harness these natural resources and make the state one of the best run states in the world.


"Our educational system has collapsed and our schools are an apology, my leadership would address that too and give our children an educational system where they can compete globally."


He decried that the government of governor Jibrilla Bindow has failed in providing security to the people of Adamawa saying the governor's claims of road Construction is an assault to the sanctity of human lives and that no development truely has any meaning when the lives of human beings are not protected.


Speaking on one of his policy thrust Garkida said, "I will introduce a civil service reform that will place priority on the welfare of civil servants in the state.


"Agriculture has been the main stay of our people and government has to take responsibility in developing the sector with the goal of transferring wealth to ordinary citizens of Adamawa state."
