He promised free education for secondary school students and the payment of scholarship for tertiary institutions students.

The PDP gubernatorial candidate faulted governor Bindow for borrowing to pay salaries and challenged the people of Adamawa state to demand explaination for the whereabouts of the N5 billion monthly allocations to local governments in the state noting that one month allocation could pay workers five months salaries and the  accumulation of salary arrears was a grand ponzi scheme.

"We are here without any difference of religion or ethnicity just show our support for both Atiku and Fintiri. The APC government have made life unbearable for us, poverty has gripped everyone and many of us have decided to go back to the farm and on the farm we are not safe.

"This election is an opportunity given to us by God to change the situation of our family and our state.

"We have all resolved not to allow this government of deceit to buy our conscience with N10,000 or bags of dry rice. Our children will never forgive us if we allow this government that annihilate our future to come back again.
