No Candidate Can defeat Bindow in 2019- Bindow's Aide

One of the advisers to governor Muhammed Umaru Jibrilla, Bashir Abdullahi, said, that governor Muhammed Umaru Jibrilla Bindow stands in a pole position to clinch the Adamawa governorship race in 2019 in view of his wide acceptance with the ordinary people of Adamawa state and the impeccable track records he has in the state.

Bashir said, governor Jibrilla's people oriented projects and massive infrastructural leap for the state has made him the darling of the masses and would easily clinch the 2019 race.

Bashir Abdullahi made the remarks, Wednesday, while addressing newsmen in Yola, Adamawa state.

Speaking on the state of the party in Adamawa, Bashir called on members of the All Progressives Congress, APC in the state, to cease all hostilities and rally behind governor Jibrilla Bindow and president Muhammadu Buhari in order to ensure victory for the party in 2019.

Bashir who pleaded with all the aggrieved members of the party in the state to embrace each other as political partners and work for the interest of the people of the state in line with the vision and goals of the APC of salvaging Nigerians from poverty and backwardness.

Bashir explained that, "We are bound to have differences in opinion and approach in life and more especially in politics but we cannot stop working to resolve these differences bacause that is what separates failure from success.

"During the congresses and primaries, there were fierce contests for positions and strong display of interest, some won and some lost out, that is normal in life and that time is over, now is the time to put the party first and place the interest of the people of Adamawa first and sustain the remarkable progress of the APC under governor Bindow.

"Let's give the reconcilation committee a chance to succeed and push the party forward.

"Givernor Jibrilla is adjudged one of the best governors in Nigeria and the best Adamawa state has ever had and all true sons of Adamawa should rally behind the governor to ensure that the APC and governor Jibrilla continues the good work of salvaging Adamawa from backwardness.

"President Muhammadu Buhari, working well with the Adamawa state governor, has restored calmness to the troubled northern Adamawa state and billions of naira of federal road projects are ongoing in all three goe-political zones of the state."

Bashir appeals to all the members of the party, to align with the lofty agenda of president Muhammadu Buhari in bringing sanity to the Nigerian polity and ridding the country of corruption.

Speaking on the 2019 elections, he said, Bindow has already eclipsed every past governor with his outstanding performance in addressing the embarrassing infrastructural deficit of the state and among all the contestants running for the state, none has the capacity, commitment and determination to revolutionise Adamawa state.

"Adamawa state has one of the most functional primary healthcare systems in the country and health facilities in all the geo-political zones have been refurbished and upgraded to address the health concerns of the people of the state.

"The over 300 roads built by the governor are a testament to his commitment to the Adamawa project and that all differences within the party can be resolved and the interest of the people and party should always be placed high above personal and group interest," he said.
