Adamawa Politics: Adamawa Politician Fingered in Plot to Frame Senator Ishaku Abbo

A political storm is about to blow in Adamawa state, as a group known as Senator Ishaku Abbo Support Group said it has uncovered a plot in the state, by a female politician fitting the profile of Senator Binta Masi, to compound Senator Abbo's ordeal, by brewing a false assault accalim on him, which could lead to a political warfare between PDP and APC in the state.

The group said the politician has concluded plans to recruit a lady from Michika to frame him for assault thereby fanning the embers  his present predicament.

The group called "Senator Ishaku Abbo's vanguard" has threatened to expose the identity of the Adamawa female politician from Michika, allegedly involved in plot to blackmail Ishaku Abbo by hiring the services of a young lady with one million naira and a sienna bus to frame Abbo for assaulting her. 

The group claimed it has obtained a confessional statement from the  young lady involved in the plot but made a last minute decision to renegade on the evil plot.

The group led by its leader, Godfrey Gabriel, made the remarks at a press briefing in Yola, Adamawa state. Ishaku Abbo Vanguard says the desperate politician in question has hired the services of a syndicate who helped hatched a plot for an interview on a national television, accusing the senator of assault in order to further deepen the crisis he already is involved in.

Godfrey said, "We have in our possession intelligence and evidence of the alleged sponsored plot by the female politician to further damage the reputation of Senator Ishaku Abbo.

"The lady involved has made a confessional statement." Godfrey said, "A lady from Michika, who is currently in Yola is at the center of the plot.

"The syndicate according to her was approached by the mischievous politician and was lured and compelled to act a malicious script against senator Ishaku Abbo."

He further alleged that part of the plot was that, "She was asked to grant an interview with Channels TV, where she would alleged an assault was carried out on her by the Senator. 

"The interview was scheduled for 16th July, 2019 at 9:00 am but the syndicate was too scared to go ahead with the plan. 

"She confided in someone with the confessional statement which is recorded. 

"An alleged sum of one million naira and a Sienna bus was promised to the lady if she goes ahead with the planned interview."

The group, warned the politician, not to mistake their silence for weakness and that her continued sponsored campaign of columny against Abbo would not break him but would only makes him stronger.

They also aimed a dig at the politician saying, "Having been conversant with power since 1999, she has been finding it difficult to move on now that she is finally ousted and retired."

All pointers from the  narrative of the Ishaku Abbo Vanguard group points to the former senator representing Adamawa north, Binta Masi, who lost elections to Ishaku Abbo in the 2019 elections and has been in the national assembly since 1999.

    ...then its politics. It must be dirty. Cliff was and should be judgment to push him out. I think credibility and responsible life should be the watchword. Let's see how it goes...plot or no plot.
