Warning:Graphic Images: Ibarapa Massacre: 20 killed by suspected Herdsmen in Oyo As Makinde Calls Appeals for Calm

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has called for calm as security operatives have taken control of the situation in Igangan, where gunmen suspected to be criminal herdsmen killed about 20 persons, burnt the palace of the village head and rain destruction on igangan community in the early hours of Sunday, June 6, 2021.

The governor gave the assurance in a message posted on his Facebook wall on Sunday.

Makinde said: "I have received the shocking news of the attacks on residents of Igangan, Ibarapaland, in the early hours of this morning.

"I am currently being briefed on the incidents. I urge residents to remain calm as security operatives are now in control of the situation."
