APC National Convention: Sen. Girei Submits Form for Deputy National Chairman (North)

Senator Abubakar Girei mni, has submitted his Expression of Interest and Nomination Form to APC National Secretariat on Friday 18th March 2022. 

The APC big-wig is contesting for the post of Dep.National Chairman (North) at the forthcoming APC National Convention, Saturday 26th March 2022.

Sen. Girei is in a pole position to emerge as APC's Deputy National Chairman North.

Adamawa State Tertiary Institutions Shutdown Over Minimum Wage Snub

YOLA – Academic and non-academic staff of Adamawa State-owned tertiary institutions have shutdown all tertiary institutions in the state as a result of failure by the Fintiri-led government to include tertiary institutions in the state in its minimum wage implementation plan. The instructions decided to embarked on an indefinite strike following the government’s failure to address their demand for new minimum wage implementation after its seven-day warning strike elapsed, Monday, 10th March, 2025 as the state government keeps mum. The decision was announced in a statement released by the Joint Action Committee (JAC) of academic and non-academic staff unions, signed by the committee’s chairperson , Comrade Maryam Abdullahi.
