WAFARI Bags Ladi Kwali Award of Excellence

Hon. Pharmacist Wafari Theman has bagged the Ladi Kwali award of excellence confered on him by the National Forum for Youth and Women Education Development.

The award was presented by the National Coordinator of the forum, Comrade Lami Ehi. Comrade Ehi said Wafari's track record of excellence and capacity building which focuses on women and the Youths is the reason for the recognition confered on him. Ehi commended the Adamawa chapter of NFYWED for pointing out the details of Wafari's effort and contributions towards building the capacity of Youths and Women.

Responding, Pharmacist Wafari thanked the National body of NFYWED for the recognition and assured the leadership of the organization that the award is only a wake up call for him to continue the good works he is involved in towards ensuring a better life for all. He pointed out that his passion for empowering youths and women is borne out of his desire to raise a generation of people with a good heart and capacity to alleviate the suffering of rhe downtrodden.

He further stated that though the award came to him as a surprise, he is now conscious of the fact that people are appreciative of his contributions.

Wafari encouraged the leadership of the NFYWED to partner with WAF WOMEN ADVOCACY FORUM in organising a robust conference for Women in Yola the Adamawa State capital.

The brief ceremony which took place at his Abuja office had in attendance his wife, Mrs Sarah Wafari, the members of WAF WOMEN ADVOCACY FORUM , Hajiya Hauwa Mallum, Comfort Ezra, Saratu Ethan and Steve Hezron.
