Abdulrazak Namdas, purchase a governorship form and run for governor of Adamawa state under the platform of the All Progressives Congress come 2023.

The three members said working together with the Namdas support Group and members of the Senior Citizens forum of Ganye chiefdom, were able to mobilise resources to purchase the form in order to motivate Namdas to achieve his noble aspiration of transforming Adamawa state into a truely progressive and developmentally focused state.

They made this known at a press briefing in Yola, the Adamawa state capital.

The citizens of the Ganye Chiefdom led by their members, Hon. Abdullahi Ahmadu, (lemko Koma) Hon. Abdullahi Umar Nyako (member representing Toungo),  and Hon. Alhasaan Hammanjoda, member representing Ganye) said no one from the Ganye chiefdom has ever become the governor of the state and that Namdas has displayed an uncommon leadership skills, vision and capacity, to occupy the number one seat of the state.

The legislators maintained that they support the candidacy of Hon. Namdas because he has the vision and competence to make the Adamawa of everyone's dream a reality.
The statement reads in part, "We the members of the Adamawa State House of Assembly from Ganye Chiefdom, including Ganye, Jada and Toungo constituencies, in collaboration with the Namdas support Group and Senior Citizens forum in the Chiefdom, wish to declare our total support to Hon. Abdulrazak Namdas' aspiration for the office of the governor of Adamwa state under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC)

"Abdulrazak has distinguished himself in the area where he is serving as the member representing Gamye, Jada, Toungo and Mayo Belwa  at the national assembly because his performance is unprecedented."

The legislators call on all Adamawa indigenes interested in the progress of the state to rally behind Namdas in order to make the goal of the Adamawa everyone's dreams, a reality.

He explained that it is not because he would not reason with anyone for the collective interest of the party but the decision to stepdiwn is not his because it is the collective aspiration of his people.

He said, he is confident that Namdas will deliver and transform Adamawa to it desired dream of being among the great states in the country.
