Hon. Fakuta Condoles Rev. Daniels Family - Calls for Independent Investigation into Shooting, Kidnapping,, Killing

The candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) running for the House of Representatives for Gombi/Hong Federal Constituency, Hon. Hyellagaziya Nauwa Fakuta, has described as depressing and disappointing the total collapse of if security in the country leading to situation where innocent citizens are attacked and killed by mindless killers.

Hon. Fakuta said she is saddened by shooting of Reverend Daniel Umaru of EYN church. The attackers also killed his two sons, kidnapped his the daughter and left his wife unconscious because of the trauma of the loss. 

No person of good conscience any sense of humanity would kkep quiet in the face of the devastating blow on our collective sense of humanity. 

Hyellagiziya Fakuta made this known in press release issued to Newsmen in Yola, Adamawa' state.

While condemning the act, Hon. Fakuta console the family and task government to fishout the killers and put a stop to these acts of serial killing in the country.

According to Fakuta "It is very painful that the security situation in our country is not improving significantly and the situation keeps deteriorating by the day with grave possible long lasting humanitarian consequences.

"No one or people with any sense of self worth or self- respect will tolerate this kind of treatment or allow themselves to be brought so low.

There is no justification or reasonable explanation for these indiscriminate and unjust killing of innocent unarmed people in our country. 

"The recent reports of attacks and wanton killings are heartbreaking. I strongly condemn these murders and call for an independent investigation into it."

"My condolences to the victims and their families for this horrific incident and traumatic killings and my heart and thoughts of well-meaning citizens of this country go with them.

"Let us also pray for the family of our fellow countrymen and women growing through these tragedies that God will give them grace to go through it," Hon. Fakuta said.

On Rev. Daniel family, she ADC candidate said, "We mourn for the victims, their families and the entire community and for those of us that were left behind, because "Behind every dark clouds there is sunshine."

She urge citizens and all Nigerians not, "Loose hope but to continue pursue peace and the collective good for the growth and development of our communities, our state and nation."
